A Fond Farewell

Hello.  It's Deborah here with you today - it's a bittersweet post - fun sharing Rick's art and sadness as I say bye to my team mates.  I am stepping down from Rick's team today and hope that you'll enjoy these two journal pages that I've made featuring a couple of Rick's wonderful women.

For the first page I used the beautiful Bearded Lady - she so elegant!  On the second page I used Morning Goddess Bath Time Burlesque - another fabulous women.  Full details of both pages can be found on my blog - Deborah's Gems.

These images and many, many more can be found at Rick's Zibbet shop.

I'd like to say thank you to Rick and to my team mates for inviting me to join the team, for a really fun filled year - and Rick - I just LOVE your art!  Hugs, Deborah xxx

Happy Christmas.

Hi everyone.

I just wanted to say a Happy Christmas to everyone. I hope you're all prepared for the Christmas season. :-)

I wanted to make a cute card for one of my friends so I went over to Rick's shop on zibbet and chose this adorable image.

The digi I used is called Azalea and friends

Easter Buddies- Calendar - Crafting Vicky

Oh my... I almost forgot to post my make on this blog today!!!  Time is just getting away from me because with the holidays I'm trying to finish everything and running out of hours in the day!!!!

The good news is that with this cute little make using Easter Buddies I finally finished the calendar that I was making for my grandmother!!!  I was missing the month of March and I figured that this cutie would be perfect for it since Easter is in March in 2016.

The base of this calendar page was a cereal box and you can see some of the writting through the paint but I think it adds a nice element without having the book paper!  The paper is all a collage of papers from my stash as well as some purple washi tape because I wanted to bring some more of the purple from her dress to the right hand side.

I colored the image with my copics and I fussy cut her out.  I really love how cheerful this turned out to be but with this cutie I don't think it could have turned out in any way other than cheerful!

You can check out how this was made on my blog post here.

Hope you like my inspiration. Check out all the other fabulous images in the Zibbet store or in the Etsy store!

Have a fabulous Thursday!!!!  And since I won't be back on the blog before Christmas I would love to wish you all very happy holidays!!!!

Progressive Change part 2

Only 10 days to go.
Are you a "have everything organised before your summer hols" type person or are you a "struggling to wrap everything Christmas eve night and then realise you forgot Uncle Claude" type of person?
ME? Always the latter. It's silly, I know Christmas is the same time every year but it is sneaky and creeps up and surprises me every time. I don't suppose next year will be any different however good my intentions are in January.

Have you been following the exploits of the team over at our sister blog, Airless Chambers? The 12 days of Creepmas hop is well under way now and some fantastic projects have been shown. Well worth a wonder down the corridor.

Don't forget those stockings - Rick's coloring books are the ideal prezzie to add and will supply hours of fun. There's a tab up top to describe all available.

The second month of our Progressive challenge always uses an image supplied by Rick and if you took part in the first part you'll get it free. It is available to buy if you were too busy   Take yer Pick is still not sure whether it's still Hallowe'en or if he should go into Christmas mode and Team B is having their turn to depict his quandary.

Imagination Fairy

Hello, it's Deborah here with you today.  I've an art journal page to share.  I used one of Rick's super fairy images and created a world for her to live in:

Imagination Fairy - photo by Deborah Frings - Deborah's Gems

This fairy is called Batty Bettina - she's a night fairy, although I've made her a daytime fairy!!  I think she's a sassy girl with lots of attitude.  She is full of fun and imagination and lives life to the full!  You can find more details of the page on my blog, Deborah's Gems.

If you want to create with Bettina you can find her at Rick's Zibbet shop along with lots of other fairy folk.

December Progressive Challenge

Well here we are..... the last month of 2015!
What a year we've had in the Rick St Dennis camp. All the new images that Rick has dreamed up and the arrival into the world of colouring books for adults. It's been a wonderful whirlwind.

Don't forget to get your Creepmas images lined up from the shop - the celebration of those 12 Days of Creepmas has started over at our sister blog, Airless Chambers. To find out more about that - take a short jaunt down the blogland corridor and take a nosey. If you're quick - you might find the sale still on - but you have to be quick!!

The second month of our Progressive challenge always uses an image supplied by Rick and if you took part in the first part you'll get it free. It is available to buy if you were too busy   Take yer Pick is not sure whether it's still Hallowe'en or if he should go into Christmas mode - a bit like the stores out there - selling Christmas stuff before 31st of October. So, I think, he can be forgiven for being a bit confused.
Team A are hosting this first installment with our little prezzie, Team B will be along on the 15th with more inspirational pieces.

Mr Linky always has his little corner in a special tab, found up top, so that you don't have to go a-hunting
Looking forward to seeing your projects there
